Las Vegas police investigating bus shooting outside Cosmopolitan on Strip

A shooting on the Las Vegas Strip has left one person dead and another injured, and the gunman is holed up on a transit bus, authorities said. "It's just insane." Police attributed initial reports of an active shooter to people hearing the sound of the glass in jewelry cases being broken.

Police surrounded the bus as they investigated the shooting, Officer Larry Hadfield told CNN.

There is no evidence of a second shooter and no other victims have been located, police said.

"This is an ongoing situation", Hadfield said. At 2:25 p.m. the account tweeted, "North/southbound traffic on Las Vegas Blvd continues to be closed while we work to peacefully resolve this ongoing barricade".

Manchester City have given me more power than ever, says Pep Guardiola
At this level, we have to play for more than 45 minutes. "When you reach a target, it is fantastic", Klopp said to Sky Sports . Yes, it's an important moment in the season, but I don't think we should involve this kind of pressure in the game.

One victim was brought to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada's trauma center in an unknown condition, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Two blocks of the Las Vegas Strip were shut down, and hotel guests were ordered to stay in their rooms. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

Developing story - more to come.
