Microsoft Will Eventually Replace Wunderlist with New To-Do App

Microsoft Authenticator App Now Supports Phone Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts

Microsoft goes on to promise that some of users' favourite Wunderlist features will be included as time goes on - but it's frustrating that basic essentials which made the app so handy, like list-sharing and apps for Android and iOS tablets, are not already available.

Microsoft To-Do is a simple to-do list app developed as a replacement for Wunderlist (Microsoft acquired Wunderlist back in 2015).

The Redmond firm is encouraging users to test this new solution out and offer suggestions, ask questions and engage with the support team over on the Microsoft Authenticator forum. Now, Microsoft is integrating it with Office 365 (anyone with a Microsoft account can use it) and "an intelligent algorithm". An empty list provides you the chance to daily determine which tasks you'll tackle in the new day and which you won't; this kind of starting-from-scratch approach is where Intelligent Suggestions come in. Microsoft states, "Once we are confident that we have incorporated the best of Wunderlist into To-Do, we will retire Wunderlist".

The To-Do preview is rather bare bones right now. Instead, anyone with a Microsoft account can use To-Do, even if they don't have an Office 365 plan, the company confirmed.

Built by the team behind Wunderlist, To-Do lets you create lists of all the things you need to get done in a given day and check off what you accomplished.

'Infowars' host Jones disputes persona in custody dispute
Jones at the last pretrial hearing Wednesday, reports MyStatesman.com "I am in control of this court, not your clients". Rep. "This case is not about Infowars , and I don't want it to be about Infowars ", Naranjo warned the attorneys.

Microsoft is now working on integrating To-Do with its Outlook e-mail client.

The Verge reports that the To-Do list application also incorporates lists with emojis in order for users to easily identify them. "Windows Phone makes up 5% of the active users of our Authenticator Apps so we have prioritized getting this working with iOS and Android for now", Simons explained.

Something else that will surprise a lot of folks is that Microsoft is making the To-Do preview available across all mobile platforms at the same time.

"Over the years of building Wunderlist, we repeatedly heard feedback from our customers that although they were completing most of their to-dos in a day or two, they would struggle to manage their ever-growing, longer and overwhelming lists".
