Finally, the release date was also given at the end of the reveal trailer, which is November 3rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The trailer above shows off an expectedly by-the-numbers, melodramatic WWII campaign that at least benefits from the last 10 years of graphical improvement.

Activision will drop new details on Nazi Zombies at E3 2017 in June.

The next installment of the Call of Duty game franchise, Call of Duty: WWII, was unveiled Wednesday during a livestream event that culminated in a stunning trailer.

Even with Sledgehammer Games emphasizing authenticity and realism in Call of Duty: WWII, it's still a bit shocking that health regen won't be in the game. If you missed it, you can watch the reveal trailer right here. If you missed today's live stream reveal, you can see the entire thing above - otherwise, head down to the comments section and let us know if you're excited for Call of Duty: WWII!

The "worldwide reveal" for the game is set for Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET), according to Activision Blizzard. Will the return to World War II be enough to appease the series' rabid fan base?

Taser Incident Sets Off Panic at Penn Station, Stampede Nearby
A New Jersey Transit train with around 1,200 passengers aboard is stuck in a Hudson River tunnel between NY and New Jersey. This incident came after all Amtrak and New Jersey Transit trains were running with delays due to separate occurrences.

Call of Duty: WWII takes the franchise back to its roots in a bold cinematic experience that captures the unforgettable heroism of the soldiers who fought together in a war that changed the world forever.

Not to be outdone by its single-player campaign, Call of Duty: WWII will also include a full complement of multiplayer modes.

Call of Duty WW2, meanwhile, has been confirmed as focusing on a Campaign taking players through Normandy, France, Belgium, as well as other turning points of World War II.

As for Headquarters, Game Informer adds that it's a shared social space where players get rewarded, hang out, and interact outside of matches without the typical lobby structure.

But in a blog post, Activision said it's a co-operative mode that "delivers a unique storyline that's an all-new take on Nazi Zombies".

Details on the multiplayer are rather slim at this early stage, but Activision did reveal that there will be a close multiplayer beta later on in the year.
