Sebastian Gorka to leave White House

Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, is reported to be leaving the White House to accept a new position, said The Hill on Sunday. While it's not entirely clear what that means, the Examiner said Gorka's new post will "deal with the "war of ideas" involved in countering radical Islamic extremism", and will involve an appointment to a federal agency. Also, in light of Gorka's reported links to anti-semitic groups, Democratic Congressman Jerrold Nadler submitted an request to the Trump administration in March asking for Gorka's immigration paperwork so that the House Judiciary Panel could "be assured that he did not enter this country under false pretenses".

Members of the party frequently attended memorial ceremonies for WWII-era fascists, according to the report, and in 2008 a high-ranking captain called Jews "Zionist rats" and "locusts" and referred to "Zionist-Bolshevik genocide".

It's evident that President Trump liked Gorka and trusted him.

"As members of the U.S. Congress who care deeply about fighting anti-Semitism at home and overseas", the letter read.

Masters of the Universe Reboot is Actually Happening in 2019
Officials at Sony Pictures have yet to reveal a replacement, but they have tapped Man of Steel and The Dark Knight writer David S. Since Masters of the Universe is still early in development, we might not hear anything for a little while.

Known for his fringe opinions on Islam, Gorka has said accepting Muslim refugees would be " national suicide", that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the United States government, and that religious profiling of Muslims is " a synonym for common sense".

Regardless, Gorka apparently never got proper security clearance to perform his White House duties, so he's better off somewhere else where his talents can be put to use. "One senior administration official said Gorka is expected to find an opportunity outside the White House soon".

A spokesman for the National Security Council told the publication he did not "personally know" about Gorka's future. Attempts to reach Gorka by email for comment were not immediately successful.

Sebastian Gorka, a former counter-terrorism analyst for Fox News who joined the administration as a counter-terrorism adviser, will be leaving his job in the coming days.
