Ryan Seacrest speaks in the audience during FOX's

Seacrest and his girlfriend was spotted by TMZ in NY on Sunday, and he was asked about a possible "American Idol" return.

The TMZ post goes on to say that previous host, Ryan Seacrest, is the favorite to return and continue his previous role at the show's forefront.

Last week, longtime host Ryan Seacrest announced that he's the new co-host for Live! with Kelly Ripa. "No, no no. I don't know about that part yet". News alum said. "We haven't gotten that far". He is relocating to NY for the role which could potentially be a problem for hosting duties as American Idol has always taped in Los Angeles.

Gujarat Lions earn consolation win despite Amla century
Sangwan struck in the very first over with a chest high-short ball to Gujarat opener Martin Guptill on the off stump line. Glenn Maxwell's 11-ball 20 - which contained two hits over the fence - was the only other notable score for KXIP.

ABC is reportedly planning a March 2018 premier date for the show. So I think it take a lot of the burden off of her, because she's been doing this alone for the past year. He added, however, that it is "unofficial, but very close" to becoming a reality. Sources claim that the singing competition's producers have also received an offer from Fox, its home station. "I just don't see a world where Idol doesn't resurface", he said. "It's hard to believe that franchise doesn't resurface in some capacity, in some form, soon".

After some deliberation, Ryan admitted that he was devastated when American Idol, which he presented for 15 years, was pulled off air last year and always hoped it would come back sometime in the future - although he wasn't sure when.

The tough journalist and political commentator, who took on Donald Trump, will begin her show in June with an interview of the stars of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Mr. Seacrest. The most recent Idol judges, Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr., have been mostly out of conversations about returning, having heard about a reboot when the news hit the mainstream.
