Clinton aide tweets joke video of her avoiding hug during debate prep

Watch Hillary Clinton practice how to duck a Donald Trump hug in debate prep

Earlier today, we reported on the revelation that former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey and Donald Trump's awkward post-election bro-hug was a result of Comey's reticence toward being seen embracing the man he was thought to have helped elect.

Reines proceeds to wrap his arms around Clinton as she attempts to scamper away and laughter fills the room.

Reines was Trump's stand-in while Clinton was preparing for the confrontations ahead.

The video was filmed on September 24, 2016 - eight days after the first Trump-Clinton debate and less than two weeks before the second debate, which took place on October 4.

It is unknown if his commitment to Scarface will effect his work on DC Films' Suicide Squad spin-off Gotham City Sirens. The new film will have a Los Angeles setting, with the script's most recent draft coming from the Coen brothers.

On Thursday, The New York Times published a story quoting Benjamin Wittes, a friend of Comey's, who described the ex-FBI director's efforts during a White House reception. She tries to give him a high-five instead and he jokingly chases after and hugs her anyway as the Clinton staff laughs behind the camera.

So don't worry, Comey, you weren't the only one who went to great lengths to avoid Trump's admiration. Bad enough that he was there; bad enough that there would be a handshake; he emphatically did not want any show of warmth. And Comey has long arms so Comey said he pre-emptively reached out for a handshake and grabbed the president's hand.

In fact, during Trump's campaign he stated, "If I win, I am going to instruct my Attorney General to get a special prosecutor to look into your (Hillary Clinton) situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception".

After Trump's win, it was revealed that Reines had the honor of playing him in debate prep, a duty that he took so seriously he stopped taking his meds.
